After a short illness Deb passed away at the Michael Garron Hospital, East York, Toronto.
Survived by her mother Doris (nee Ekstrom), and siblings: Kennedy (Val), James, Denton (Donna), Christine. Predeceased by her father Jim, and adored by her many nieces and nephews.

After her career at Korry’s on the Danforth, she moved north to manage several food and drink establishments in Sundridge. She later returned home to look after two elderly parents on Chilton Rd. for the last 14 years. She is fondly remembered for her independence, generosity, intelligence, loyalty, love of animals, sports, puzzles, and small town life style.

She will be cremated, with her ashes spread at Sundridge in the coming months.
