CABOTAJE, Domingo Salagubang Cabotaje

Domingo Salagubang Cabotaje  passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025 in Oshawa, Ontario.

Born February 20, 1955 to Fausto Cabotaje and Lolita Salagubang in the Philippines. Domingo  completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry and was a Forester in the Philippines for a few years before migrating to Canada. He then worked in the hospitality industry for 37 years.

He was a dedicated father to his sons, Dennis and Daniel.  A Loving lolo  to Izabella and Alexander. Beloved brother  to 6 brothers( Hernando, Conrado, Renato and the late brothers Camilo, Jesus and Manuel) and 5 sisters.(Nora, Lina, Thelma, Marlene and Eva) He’s loved by the whole family, nephews, nieces, and grand children and in-laws.

He was a pure, simple and hardworking family man with so much passion and generosity.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Dr. Oshawa. Service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, 214 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, ON, L1G 4S9 at 10:00 am, with interment to follow at Thorton Cemetery.
