CADEAU , Annalea Dorothy Cadeau

Peacefully, with family by her side, Annalea Dorothy Cadeau passed away on August 13, 2025 at the golden age of 89.

Annalea is survived by her children – Cindy (Murray), Terry (Sam) and Sandy. Her Granddaughters Carol, Rhonda (Carl) and Crysta (Mike). Also 5 Great Grandchildren – Adrian, Nathan, Brooke, Noelle and Nikolai.

Annalea was born in Midland, ON to parents James and Phyllis Dempsey (deceased) and was one of 7 children. She is survived by her brother Boyd and sister Sandra, and pre-deceased by sisters Marg, Pat, Donna and Glenda. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Annalea was an independent, strong willed, resilient and hard working woman. She moved to Toronto at a young age where she worked for both CBC and at Osgoode Hall. Later on she became a Caregiver/Companion for both children and seniors until she retired, and was absolutely adored by everyone she met. She loved to craft, bake, cats and dogs and Family was always a top priority. Annalea wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone, in anyway she could even if she didn’t know them. Most importantly she was very religious and lived her life serving the Lord and for that we believe she is now in the arms of God and reunited with her family.

To have known her was a true blessing – her fun loving spirit was contagious and her zest for life inspiring… Annalea will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, and the honour of being loved by her.

The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the Nurses of 2 North at Lakeridge Health Hospital – Ajax Pickering – not only for their hard work and dedication, but for the compassion, comfort and outstanding care they showed not only for Annalea, but for the family as well during this difficult time.

Service will be held at a later date.
