He of Petrolia, passed away suddenly at home with his beloved wife Jane by his side, on Friday, March 20, 2026. He was in his 90th year. William “Bill” Stewart Cadman was the loving and devoted father to Bill (Lisa) Cadman and the late Steven and the late Gerald. Proud grandpa to Brandon (Miranda) Cadman, and their children Jessa, Alivia, and Bentley Cadman, Levi Cadman, Anna Cadman, Shania Cadman, Chloe Cadman and her children Liam and Joshua, and Bree Cadman. Bill Cadman was the loving brother to the late Fred (Nancy) Holden, the late Jim (Yvonne) Holden, Jack (the late Cheryl) Cadman, Gary (Lynne) Cadman, Deanna (the late Roy) Bougner, Dennis Holden and Denise (Bob) Danby. He will be remembered fondly by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bill was a former Petrolia Rotary member, boxer, volunteered at CEE and was a Lab Tech for Dow Chemical, retiring just shy of 40 years. And of course, there’s blackbook of every golf course in southwestern Ontario that hosted a game or five for Bill and his friends over the years. Bill also served his country in the Canadian Armed Forces, Black Watch, right after his graduation from high school.
The family would like to thank the EMS team in Petrolia for their quick response, kindness and intuition.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the CEE Auxiliary.
