With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edrica “Audrey” Caesar, age 90, of Toronto, Canada. Lovingly known to her siblings as “Toy Toy” and to her nieces and nephews as Aunty Toy, she quietly passed away on Friday, June 20th, 2025.
Edrica is survived by her sister Lucille Wiltshire of Houston, TX, her sister Amoy Laptiste of Trinidad, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Howell and Virginia Caesar, brothers Clive, McLean, Lambert, Leelum, and Haig, and sisters Eileen, Evelyn, and Paulina.
Born on the island of Dominica on March 28, 1935, Edrica moved to Canada in the early 1960s, where she resided until her passing. A devout Catholic, she lived her life in faith and service. She volunteered with the “Out in the Cold” Program and was known for her generosity and kindness.
She was an excellent cook and baker, loved crocheting beautiful blankets to gift to others, and had a passion for WWE wrestling, which brought joy to all who watched alongside her.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, Ontario, L3T 3Z6.
We will continue to honor her memory by cherishing each moment we shared. Her essence will live on in our hearts.
