It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Howard Wilfred Campbell, beloved son of Gaye Campbell, who left this world peacefully with his dear friend Donna by his side.
Howard’s life was not without its challenges, but through it all, he carried a quiet strength and a spirit that left a lasting impression on those around him.
For over 30 years, Howard was a cherished member of Pathways Independent Living—a place that became far more than a residence. It became his home, and the people within it became his family.
The staff at Pathways did not simply provide care; they built a life with Howard. They stood by him through the years with unwavering compassion, patience, and kindness. They celebrated his good days, supported him through the difficult ones, and ensured that he was always treated with dignity, respect, and genuine love.
Their dedication gave Howard stability, comfort, and a true sense of belonging. Over three decades, they created countless moments of joy, laughter, and connection that defined his life in the most meaningful ways. It was clear to anyone who visited that Howard was deeply valued and truly loved.
Howard Campbell will be remembered for his presence, his story, and the quiet ways he connected with those around him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, as well as by all who had the privilege of knowing him through the Pathways community.
We find comfort in imagining Howard now, revving his Harley one last time, the engine rumbling as he rides into the golden sunset—free, at peace, and surrounded by the love that carried him throughout his life.
Rest peacefully, Howard—you will never be forgotten.
