Randolph Larry Carleton, a lifelong resident of Port Bolster and owner of Carleton Construction and Randyβs Fish Huts, passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2025, at the age of 69. Predeceased by his parents, Grant and Charlotte (nee Jarvie) of Port Bolster, Randy will be dearly missed by his cherished soulmate of 20 years, Carol Scott, and her children Paul, Julie, and their families.
Randy was the beloved brother of William (predeceased) (Sandra), Boyd (Reepa), Ronald (predeceased), Rick (predeceased) (Sabine), Louise Kouba, Judy Avery, Mark (Deanna), and Jay (Bonnie), as well as their families. He will be fondly remembered by his many relatives and friends.
Randy’s love for family, his generosity, and his devotion to animals were well-known to all. His lifelong dedication to the construction and ice fishing businesses, learned alongside his father, marked his life with significant accomplishments and meaningful friendships.
The family extends special thanks to Dr. Patricia Marchuk and Palliative RN Teresa Petrie for their compassionate care and support during Randy’s time at home.
In Randyβs honour, memorial donations to the Brock Dench Animal Shelter, the Georgina Animal Shelter and Adoption Centre, or a Humane Society of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
