Peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on August 16, 2025, Charles John Caron, age 87, of Tilbury. Born in Tilbury on November 7, 1937, son of the late Leona Caron (Bourdeau) and William Caron.
Beloved husband of Sharren Caron. Loving father to Mary Ann (Steven). Grandfather to Drew.
Brother to the late Marie (late Frank), Ernest (the late Adeline), late Jerry (the late Marilyn), Priscilla (the late Harold), late Robert (Mary), Lucy (Jim), Susan (the late Joe), Peggy (Dennis), and Cheryl (Kevin).
He will also be missed by his sisters-in-law Lynda Hicks and Margaret Pettrigrew (Keith), his brother-in-law Terry Mawdsley (Jeanette), and the late Jim Mawdsley. Charles will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Charles retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after 33 years of service.
Cremation will take place. Visitation will be held at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S., Chatham, on Thursday, August 28th, from 6:00–8:00 PM.
