Cary Allan Hajnrych passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2026, in Kelowna, British Columbia. He was born January 17, 1971, and was 55 years old.
Cary is remembered as a devoted family man who showed up for the people he loved. He is survived by his wife, Wendy; his children Courtney, Jordan, Connor, Carlie, Cameron and Justin; granddaughter Scottie; parents Mervyn and Jean, Jean Mooney; and sister Christine. He was predeceased by his brother Billy.
Cary owned Cary's Custom Cuts Saw Mill and loved hockey, quiet time at home, his pets and road trips with Wendy. A Celebration of Life will be held October 3, 2026, between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. at the family home in Kelowna. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
