CASPER, John “The Ghost” Casper

October 1, 1953 - July 23, 2026

Passed away peacefully after a sudden illness at 72 years of age at WRH Ouellette Campus on Thursday July 23, 2026. Beloved spouse and life partner of Patricia (Anger) for 33 years. Dear and loving father of Millissa Chlumecky (Mike) and Patricia Mitrevski (Mike). Loving stepfather of Trevor (Anger). Very proud Grandpa of Chloe, Aiden, Emma, and Evan. Brother of Doug Laliberty (Pam) and Bill Laliberty. John will be sadly missed by the entire Lindsey family.

John worked for Chrysler as a pipe fitter for 30 years before retiring. He found enjoyment in all sports and loved playing baseball, golf and bowling among others. In his spare time he could be found in the garage with a Blue and a buddy shooting a game of pool. He will be fondly remembered as “The Ghost” by so many family and friends. He will as well be remembered with a smile by his “Shakers” group friends.

Visitation will take place at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – South Chapel (3048 Dougall Ave., Windsor 519-253-7236) on Monday July 27, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A complete Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Cremation to follow.
