CHARBONNEAU, Cheryl G. Charbonneau

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 11, 2026 at the age of 74. Cheryl was predeceased by her parents, William (Bill) and Rena Thomas, and is survived by her brother, Gary Thomas.

Cheryl was the proud and devoted mother of three incredible sons: Derek (Allison), Trevor (Maria) and Jeff (Tammy). Her boys were the centre of her world, and she poured her love, strength, and unwavering support into each of them.

Her greatest joy came in being Grandma to her six beloved grandchildren: Isabella, Logan, Evan, London, Bostyn, and Ireland. Cheryl’s love for her grandchildren knew no bounds. Whether through gentle guidance, warm hugs, laughter, or quiet moments of care, she made each child feel deeply loved and uniquely special.

She will also be missed by Rebecca, as well as dear friends Carol and Mario

Cheryl will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of God, her strength, and her selfless devotion to her family. She had a way of making others feel safe, supported, and valued, and her presence brought comfort simply by being near.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find peace in knowing that her love lives on—in the lives she shaped, the family she nurtured, and the countless memories that will be treasured forever.

A celebration of Cheryl’s life will take place this spring and details will be posted when they are available.
