Mrs. Christine Karol passed away peacefully on October 14, 2026. While her passing was sudden, she did not suffer.
Christine was born in Poland in 1947 and returned to Canada, the birthplace of her mother, in 1956. She grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario, attended high school, married, and had her three children, Richard, Michelle, and Brian.
After being a stay-at-home wife and mother, Christine went on to have a 25 year career as a Real Estate agent in the Greater Toronto Area.
Later in life Christine was determined to stay single and focus solely on work. Instead, life had other ideas. In 1998 she met the love of her life, Joe Karol. Joe and Christine were amazed with how much they had in common, loved the same things, and had the same shared values. They married in 2004. Christine and Joe have lived happily in the Baby Point Gates area for many glorious years.
Christine will be remembered by her children as being a selfless, devoted, wise, and loving mother. They were always her main priority. Richard/Karen, Michelle, and Brian/Lindsay will deeply cherish the beautiful memories they had with their mother and how special she made them feel every day. Their loss has been enormous.
Christine has made numerous long-term friendships throughout her life, specifically with her dear friends Linda and Terry. They both brought her much joy and happiness.
Finally and most importantly Christine’s 22 year marriage to Joe may have come to an end on Oct 14, but the love, kindness, and appreciation they had for each other will be an example to all who knew them. Joe and his wonderful family were an extended family for Christine. Joe’s two children Joey/Shabby and Tracy/Carl, Joe’s grandchildren Alexandra and Patrick, his brother Andy/Mary, his nephews Nick and Chris and their wives and children, were an important part of Christine’s life.
Christine Karol was a beautiful woman, who was devoted to her family. She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, family, and friends.
