CICORIA, Nicola Cicoria

With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nicola Cicoria. He passed away peacefully in his 94th year of life on May 3, 2026.

Nicola was cherished by many, especially by his late wife of 65 years, Giovanna, his adoring children Michael, Eugenio (Giuliana), and Maria (Marc), his grandchildren, Robert, Lisa (Jason), Alessandra, Camille (Robert), Gabrielle, and Liam, and his great grandchildren Felix and Emilia.

Forever remembered by his brothers Alfredo (Antoinetta) and Giuseppe (Giovanna). United forever in heaven with his brothers Francesco and Vincenzo (Anna), and sister Maria (late Luigi) and his parents Maria and Michele.

Will also be missed by many in-laws on both sides of his extended family.

Truly, an amazing father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He was our rock. Nicola’s life was an example of faith, love, sacrifices, kindness, integrity, dependability, and dignity.

He will be missed tremendously as he leaves us to join his beautiful wife, having accomplished all they desired for themselves and their family with grace and love.

The family is forever grateful for the attentive care given by the palliative/hospice team at the Brantford General Hospital.

Nicola’s desire for a private family funeral was held on May 11, 2026, at Toll Funeral Home.
