Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Village on the Ridge with her family by her side. She will be missed dearly by her sister Diane (Garry); nieces Sherry (Dale) and Tammy and her great niece Brooke. She is predeceased by her parents William and Margaret, brothers Dennis and David, her niece Lee Ann, and great nephew Kyle.
Mary Darlene Clarke lived independently most of her life with the support of Community Living, Rhonda and Pam. She was the first employee at Library Cafe, and Harvey’s in Chatham.
She enjoyed music and loved to dance. She looked forward to watching wrestling and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She was always up for ice-cream, cheesecake, and a can of coke. Darlene was a cat owner for most of her life; her last cat was Fluffy, not the most loving creature.
Dar we are going to miss you with all our hearts. Dance like no one else is watching. Dance to the beat of your angel wings.
