It is with saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Carl Coady on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Bluewater Health, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Theresa for 69 years. Loving father of Nancy (Dave) Fortin, Randy (Nicole) Coady, and James (Kim) Coady. Cherished grandfather of Mark (Sarah), Jason (Sydney), and Nicole (Terry), Trevor, Megan (Randy), Chantelle (Dave), and Danielle (Greg), Jarod (Alice), and Devon. Treasured great-grandfather of Kristapher, MacKenzie, Logan, Landon, Hayden, Dylan, and Dustin, Nora, Jack, Samantha, and Hanna, baby Meads, Kael, Asher, Emery, Carson, Luca, and Gia. Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Ethel Coady, by his sister Doris (Don) Harness, and by his brother Clarence (Sylvia) Coady. Carl was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching sports, especially hockey. One of his favorite pastimes was attending his children and grandchildren’s sporting events. Above all else, Carl enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to Heart & Stroke
