COOPER, Jack Allan Cooper
May 30, 1947 - July 17, 2026
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Allan Cooper, age 79, of Brantford, Ontario, on Friday, July 17, 2026. Jack was the beloved brother of Carol Coleman. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Kay Cooper, and his brothers, Ken and Glen. He will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends. Known to many of his friends as “Foxy,” Jack will be remembered for his quick wit, dry sense of humor, and genuine interest in the world around him.
Jack dedicated many years of his career to Flintkote Company of Canada and Cornell Construction. He is lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Jack was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays fan and, in his earlier years, proudly supported the Brantford Red Sox. He enjoyed following current events and could always be counted on for an insightful conversation and a well-timed humorous remark.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home. In keeping with Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will be held at a later date at Farringdon Cemetery, Brantford, Ontario. In memory of Jack, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated by his family.
