Patrick “Pat” Corey, 66, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on February 4, 1959, in Toronto to Shirley and Jim, Pat lived a life full of love and laughter.
An avid golfer, he found joy on the greens, winning skins and trying to break 100 while enjoying the camaraderie of friends on the course.
He loved nature and spending time outdoors. However, nothing brought him more happiness than time spent with his beloved grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Pat is survived by his loving partner, Sonnie; spouse, Sharon; son, Ryan (Melissa); grandchildren, Nolan and Jordan;
his brother, Michael (Charmaine); and his sister, Deborah. He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley and stepfather Bruce.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Oshawa Funeral Home,
847 King Street West, Oshawa, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
Pat’s love for golf and the joy he brought to his grandchildren will forever be treasured.
