It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nelson Correia on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 57.

Beloved husband to Zelia Correia for 37 beautiful years. A devoted and deeply proud father to Nelson Correia and Vanessa Petsinis (Bailey). Nelson’s love for his family was unwavering, his greatest joy in life was providing for and protecting those he loved.

A cherished brother to Juvenal Correia and Salette Correia (Alberto Da Ponte), Nelson was a man of quiet strength, deep faith, and an immeasurable heart. He was known for his incredible work ethic, whit, and unwavering loyalty.

Nelson’s impact on his family, friends, and community will never be forgotten. To know him was to know true generosity, laughter, and resilience. His legacy will continue to live on through the values he instilled in his children and the memories he leaves behind.
