It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Allan Lloyd Coulson (Loppy) of Norwich, Ontario, in his 74th year, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Sakura House Hospice in Woodstock.
Beloved husband of Mary for 39 years, Allan was a devoted father to James, Brandon (Tiara), and Allan Jr. (Angel). He was predeceased by his son Jeff in 2020. Loving grandfather to Ali, Abagail, and Avalon. Allan was predeceased by his parents, Grace and Lloyd Coulson, and his stepfather Harold Fleming. He is also predeceased by his siblings: Ed (and his wife Marg), Wray (survived by his wife Carol), Doug, and Marilyn (survived by her husband Bill). He will be remembered by his brother Lyle (the late Mary) and his sister Dorothy Kitchen, along with many nieces and nephews. Allan spent many years working as a fisherman on the boats in Port Dover and later as a dedicated driveway sealer and line painter. He was a hardworking man who cared deeply for his family. He loved riding his motorcycles and playing his guitars, and cherished the time he spent with those closest to him. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Suzanne from Bayshore Nursing, Britney from Bayshore PSW, his medical team at the Vittoria Cancer Unit in London, Ontario, and the compassionate staff at Sakura House Hospice in Woodstock for their exceptional care and kindness. The family would also like to thank each and every one who texted, phoned, and came to visit Allan while he was on this journey. It made our lives a little bit easier. Thank you. We love you all. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
