Peacefully passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, in his 87th year.

Devoted husband of Marjorie for 65 years. Loving Dad of Julie Hilton (Paul) and Lorraine Patton (Jamie). Cherished Granddad of Hilary, Laura, Jack, Ben (Erica), and Tim. Dear brother of Diane and Tony.

Ken was born in England and, as a young child during WWII, he was evacuated. He went on to work on steam trains in England. In 1959, he married the love of his life, Marjorie. He immigrated to Canada in 1965, eventually settling in Oshawa in 1967.

Ken started his career as a Bread Salesman and later became the Owner/Operator of Ken Co. Automotive Supplies. Ken’s true love was motorcycles, and he was thrilled to own his beloved vintage 1949 Vincent HRD Rapide motorcycle. He was also an avid gardener and loved hosting family gatherings in his beautiful backyard.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2024, from 12-1 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be shared at Armstrong Funeral Home.
