CRAIG, Edward “Eddie” Craig

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Edward Craig, who left this world peacefully with his loving family by his side. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Eddie’s life was defined by generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering love.

Eddie was the proud father of two daughters and a son, all of whom were blessed to have him not only as a parent but as a guiding light throughout their lives. His seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren knew him as “Pop”—a doting grandfather whose eyes lit up with every laugh, milestone, and moment shared. His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished each of them deeply.

Eddie shared 56 years with his beloved wife, Dawn, who passed away two years ago. Their bond was one of devotion and partnership, and the love they built together sustained him throughout his final days. Now, they are reunited once again.

To those who knew him, Eddie was a man of few words but forever loyal and a steady presence to all he considered a “pal.” His kindness touched everyone he encountered, and his legacy of love and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Westminster United Church, 1850 Rossland Rd., E., Whitby, on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., at which time, the funeral service will take place.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Westminster United Church, a place that held special meaning for Edward, Dawn, and their family. Online condolences may be shared at makfuneralhome.com

He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
