CURRIE, Frances “Ina” (née Robinson) – With love and a sense of peace, the family announces the passing of our wonderful, kind, and sassy Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. Ina passed away gently, surrounded by love, at Caressant Care Retirement Home on Mary Street on Monday, June 25, 2025, at the age of 94.

Ina was the beloved wife of Charles, celebrating 71 years of marriage. A loving mom to John (Sharon), Greg (Avril), Pam, and Stu. Cherished Grandma to Mark, Terri (Jordan), Matthew (Marisa), Martha (Adam), Abby, Spencer, Simone, and Quinn. Proud Great-Grandma to Jayden and Caroline. Ina was the dear sister of the late Hartley Robinson.

A lifelong community contributor, Ina was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, a Life Member of the Ross Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the UCW, a volunteer with Community Care, and an avid bridge player.

Visitation will take place at Cambridge Street United Church, 61 Cambridge Street North, Lindsay from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. A light luncheon will follow in the church gym.

In honour of Ina’s legacy, memorial donations may be made to Women’s Resources or the Kawartha Lakes Food Source.

We are all better for having known her—and she left us exactly as she lived: with grace, humour, and love.
