DAIGLE, Marilyn Jean Daigle
June 6, 2026 - May 30, 2026
He passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026. Her life was shaped by resilience, faith, and a deep devotion to the people she cared for most. She lived simply, worked hard, and poured her heart into raising her daughter, Victoria (Humphries), with strength and determination.
Marilyn Jean Daigle is survived by her daughter Victoria and Victoria’s husband, Daniel, as well as her two granddaughters, Nicole and Ella, of whom she was endlessly proud. Whether she was speaking with neighbours, nurses, friends, or complete strangers, her conversations always found their way back to her granddaughters. She loved to talk, she loved to share, and she loved to celebrate the people who meant the world to her.
Her faith was central to her life. Marilyn valued her relationship with God, and she lived that faith through action — especially through her work helping develop the meals program for seniors in partnership with St. Mark’s Church. She cared deeply for the seniors in her building, ensuring they were fed, supported, and treated with dignity. This program became one of her proudest accomplishments and a lasting expression of her compassion.
Marilyn will be remembered for her friendliness, her openness, and her ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. Her presence was unmistakable, and her voice — lively and full of heart — will be missed by all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved so fiercely.
