DALY, Anthony Kevin Daly

Born on June 3rd, 1936, in PortRush, Ireland, Anthony immigrated to Canada in 1957. He settled in Montreal, Quebec, where he met his beloved wife, Denise, and together they began their family and built a life rooted in love and hard work. Anthony worked for Gulf Oil as a purchasing agent, a career that led him to live in several provinces over the years. Wherever life brought him, he carried a strong sense of responsibility, humility, and care for those around him.

Anthony was known for his quiet strength and kindness. He carried himself with warmth and dignity and had a gift for putting people at ease—whether through a kind word or a bit of friendly banter.

He is survived by his children Francis (Susan), Michael (Trish), and Sandra (John). He will be remembered fondly by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy.

Anthony was predeceased by his parents, his brother, and his three sisters, and was the last of his siblings.

Anthony is resting at the Courtice Funeral Chapel prior to a private burial for immediate family, which will be held on Monday, December 15th, 2025, at Resurrection Cemetery in Whitby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders or SNAP Survivors Network in his memory.

The family wish to extend their sincere thanks to the caregivers from Helping Hands, with special thanks to Elizabeth and Yan; to St. Elizabeth Homecare, with special thanks to Denise and Emanuel; and to the Palliative Care Team from Lakeridge Health, for their compassion, kindness, and care.

Tony’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his presence will be missed more than words can say.
