D’AMBROSI, Ida Marcella D’Ambrosi (née Zanin)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ida on June 16, 2025, in her 97th year.

Loving wife of the late Eliseo, with whom she shared 54 years. Cherished mother of Angela and Frank (Michelle). Proud Nonna to Christina (Lucas) and Natalie (Luke). Bisnonna to James, Adam, Olivia, Sandro, and Mila.

Predeceased by her parents, Angela and Marco, and all nine of her siblings. Ida will be deeply missed by her brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews, both in Canada and Italy.

She will forever be remembered for her quick wit, generous spirit, strong work ethic, and warm heart. Ida will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will take place at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin Street, Toronto) on Tuesday, June 24, from 2–5 p.m. and 6–9 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Avenue W., Toronto) at 9:30 a.m., followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill).

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation are greatly appreciated.
