Passed away peacefully at his home in Cambridge, Ontario on Friday, October 30, 2026 with family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Steve and Anne Zalischuk. Loved brother of Terry (Cathy), and Annelie (Jeff). Cherished uncle of Kris, Brad, Rachel, and Paige. Dear friend of Noreen.
Dave was a long-time and proud member of the Southern Ontario Classic Mopar Club. He loved driving his 1968 Dodge Charger. He had a four-decade long career at Babcock and Wilcox, retiring at the age of 62 in 2007.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge) on Thursday, November 12, 2026. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., and the service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m.
