David Jonas
Peacefully at home on Wednesday September 23, 2026 at the age of 69 years. David Jonas of Pembroke, beloved husband of Maureen Jomas (nee Grace), Loved father to Crystal Courtney (Jason) and Nathan Jonas. Loving popa to Zoe, Peyton and Logan Courtney and Oliver and Emma Jonas. Brother of Bruce Jonas (Mary Lou) and the late Sheila Jonas and infant Betty Jonas. Son of the late Herbert and Helen (nee Redman) Jonas, Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and many friends.
Friends are invited to share their memories of David with his family on Wednesday September 30th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment Zion/St. Timothy’s Cemetery. Followed by a Reception at the Funeral Home. In memory of David, donations to the Irving Greenberg Cancer Centre (Care of the Ottawa Hospital Foundation), or St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
