DAVIDSON, Penelope Anne Davidson

Predeceased by her loving husband David. Cherished Mum of the late Timothy (Sheila), Robert (Ximena), Heather ‘Lucy’ (Karl) Wunderlich, James (Sarah), and Amy (the late Matthew) McGurk. Loving Grammie of Brooke, Emma, Anna, Lucas, Rebecca, Thomas, Emily, Sarah, Isabelle, Madison, Charlie, and Sophie. Predeceased by her parents Nancy (nee Bennett) and John Stride.

Penny Anne was a nurse, a collector, an artist, a teacher, an ever-curious lifelong learner, an active community leader, a creator, a Mum to five, and Grammie to 12. She loved her family, animals and nature, especially her beautiful Georgian Bay. Her love was effortless. She always encouraged us to do our best, pursue happiness, and never doubted us along the way. She only gave her full support. She pursued her own happiness with talented abandon. She was a skilled skier, sailor, kayaker, equestrian, painter, world traveler, crafter, Woman of God, farmer, and dedicated to service within her community. She could light a fire with wet wood and tie a great knot, especially in an emergency on the farm. A true Renaissance Woman, she will be greatly missed by all of those who loved her.

A Memorial Service will be held at HAMPTON UNITED CHURCH on February 18th, 2026 at 10:30am with a reception to follow. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations are welcomed in Penny Anne’s memory, and can be made to Hampton United Church, Marigold Hospice, the Georgian Bay Land Trust, or simply give a child a book to read.
