DAVIS, Cynthia Marie Butler Davis

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cynthia Butler (nee Davis), who passed away peacefully at Ed’s House Hospice in Cobourg after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Beloved wife of Stephen Butler. Devoted and loving mother of Calum and Bronte, who were the light of her life. Dear sister of Pam and the late Garth Derry, and loving aunt to Keegan Martin. Cherished daughter of Everett Davis (Carol) and the late Jorgie (nee Seaborn).

Cynthia will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends especially her best friend, Erin McGlynn.

Cynthia had a heart for others and a spirit that brought warmth wherever she went. She loved deeply, gave generously, and carried a beautiful light within her. She loved to sing and her voice — angelic and full of joy will echo in the hearts of those who loved her.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing her song lives on.
