Decio Harold “Desi” D’Ornellas of Kelowna, British Columbia, passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born in Guyana on June 27, 1946.
Desi is remembered by his wife Elsa, children Carrie Ann and Darryl, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings and extended family.
A chartered professional accountant, Desi worked in senior financial and public-service roles. He also enjoyed singing, acting, bridge, crossword puzzles and golf. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for October 2 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Kelowna.
