DEITCHER, Beryl Deitcher

After a sudden decline in health, peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at the age of ninety-five. Wife of the late Jack Deitcher for fifty-four years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Esther (Wasser) Deitcher, Glenda and Gary Susser, and Dr. Carol Deitcher and Robbie Kronick. Cherished grandmother of Jordan Deitcher, Rachelle Deitcher and Dr. Jon Wyse, Dr. Stephanie Susser and Valerie Clayman, Lisa Susser and Shawn Korin, Dr. Jami (Kronick) Wihlidal and Dr. Jake Wihlidal, and Jason Kronick. Adored great-grandmother of Maya, Olivia, Solomon, Moses, Eliott, and Simon. Sister and sister-in-law to Marcus and Barbara, and Gordon and Eleanor, and the late Lena. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all who knew her. She always took an interest in everyone and impacted the lives of many. Our deepest gratitude to the excellent caregiving team led by the wonderful Divina. Our sincere appreciation to the medical professionals who cared for her over the years, the medical and nursing staff of the JGH 3rd floor, and the Palliative Care Unit.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 28 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
