DEMPSEY, Gary Patrick Dempsey

Passed on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in his 49^th year.  He was preceded in death by his mother Agnes Sullivan Dempsey in 2005.  His loss is grieved by his father Douglas Dempsey of St. Thomas, son Nicholas Dempsey of Stratford, brother Terry Dempsey (Loriann) of McGregor, and sister Lori Dempsey-Drumm (Robbie) of Clayton.  Missing Uncle Gary are his nieces Kiley and Emma Dempsey, and niece Cara Drumm and nephew Nolan Drumm.

Gary worked as a journeyman in skilled trades in construction, alongside his father and brother, for many years.

Gary had a great love for music and taught himself to play guitar at the age of 14.  He was in multiple bands and played in many bars.  He always enjoyed playing with other musicians.

Gary Patrick Dempsey had a love for life, and treasured his son Nick.  Gary had the best smile and he loved to talk to people and have a good laugh.

A private graveside service will be held for Gary by the family.
