It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Henry, a cherished husband, soul mate, and best friend. Henry’s life was a testament to love, laughter, and the warmth of his incredible hugs.

Henry was more than just a partner; he was the love of my life, my confidant, and my greatest supporter. His sense of humor was unmatched, always bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Whether it was a witty remark or a playful joke, Henry had a unique ability to make everyone smile.

His hugs were legendary, offering comfort and solace in times of need. They were a reminder of his boundless love and the strength of his embrace. Henry’s presence was a source of unwavering support and affection, and his memory will forever be etched in our hearts.

Henry was deeply loved by all who knew him. His kindness, generosity, and infectious laughter left an indelible mark on everyone he met. He had a way of making people feel special and valued, and his legacy of love will continue to inspire us.

Henry was born in Paisley, Scotland, as the third child of Eric and Euphemia (Fay), and the family emigrated to Canada in August 1962. He is survived by his wife and partner of 33 years Valerie and truly blessed with 5 children; Michael (Kristin), Jeffery, Crystal (Glen), Scott (Crystal) and Timothy (Celeste). We have four grandchildren: Isabella (Nashon), Imogen, Adalyn, Theodore, Ayden and Chloe.

He is predeceased by his brother Ron (Kathy/Sheila); Linda (Andy) and survived by his sister Susanne (Rob) and Aunt Rosina McKendry and in-laws Dwaine (Robyn), Curtis (Kim) and Shawn (Amanda).

He is also survived by nieces and nephews Ronald, Carolyne, Will, Cheryl, Amanda, Jessica Courtney, Carly, Brian, Jesse, Melissa, Samantha, Danielle, Nicole, Nick, Madison, Noah and Jordan. He was blessed to have great nieces and nephews Dakota, Hunter, Saige, Adalynn, Leona, Colton and Jaxon.
