She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore; her parents, Giovanni Facciponte and Rosaria Facciponte; and her siblings, Fedele (Antonietta), Giovanna (late Giuseppe), Gaspare (late Lina), Michelangelo (Elvira), Calogero (Antonietta) and Giacomino.
She is survived by: her children, Carmelo (Angela), Giovanni (Michelle), Josephine Moretuzzo (Gerry) and Patti Washuta; her grandchildren, Lindsay (Eric), Sam (Ryan), Alicia (Tai), Sandro (Danielle), Gio (Evan), Giulia, Anthony, Bianca and Sawyer; her great grandchildren, Matteo, Vivian, Rydan, Marley, Juliana and Evelina; and her siblings, Salvatore (Giuseppina), Maria Grazia and Lina (Nick). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alfred’s Church (272 Vine St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4T3).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Niagara Region or to St. Vincent de Paul (cheque only) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
