With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Archie on February 17, 2025, at 71 years of age.
Son of the late Lloyd and Margaret Doan. Son-in-law of Shirley Hoadley (Brian) and the late Robert Goetz.
Dear husband of Kimberly (née Goetz), with whom he celebrated 17 years of marriage.
Loving father of the late Nathan Doan (2002). Stepfather of Trevor Courtis (Sylvia), Samantha Durocher (Tyler),
and Glen Courtis (Tiffany). Cherished Papa of Riley and Kendra Courtis.

Brother of Lynda McKinney (Rick) and Cindy McLellan (Brad). Brother-in-law of Jennifer Authier (George),
Patricia Evans (Tony), Martha Murphy (Robert), Matthew Goetz (Sara), and David Goetz (Jenn).
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Archie was a self-employed courier for over 30 years. He spent his childhood playing baseball and hockey in the Town of Essex.
Archie was a member of the Windsor Chiefs and participated in the Essex Retirees Baseball League.
He was an enthusiastic supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Tigers, and Kansas City Chiefs.
One of his favorite activities was fishing with his wife, Kim. Known for his generosity, Archie consistently went out of his way
to assist those in need. His most cherished pastime was spending quality time with his family and friends.

128 Talbot St. North, Essex, on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 11 a.m. until the time of the life celebration at 3 p.m.
Donations may be made to the Windsor & Essex County Humane Society. He will be laid to rest beside his parents at a later date
at the Country Meadows Cemetery.
