DOAN, Trieu Nang Doan

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Trieu Nang Doan, 83, who passed away on July 14, 2026 surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linh Mai, and by his living children: Tri Nang Doan, Tram Tu Doan, Lan Ngoc Lauper, and Tran Ngoc Galvez.

He was born on October 13, 1942, in Vietnam in the city of Gia Dinh, Saigon to his late parents, Pham Thi Lieu and Doan Nang Tieu. At an early age he worked hard to take care of his family and learned to be resilient.

Trieu proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, and in 1985 he immigrated to Canada, landed in Saskatchewan and eventually settled in Ontario. Throughout his life, he was known for living an honest life—hard working, kind, and generous to all who knew him.

Trieu was devoted to his Catholic faith, and he carried that devotion through the way he loved and cared for his family and those around him. His presence brought comfort, strength, and stability, and he will be dearly missed.

May his soul rest in peace.
