DOHERTY, Laura Ann (Roach) Doherty – With a heavy heart and constant tears, it is announced that Laura Ann Doherty, beloved wife of 31 years and mother to Robert, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 5:30. Born on December 15, 1960, Laura was the guiding light and true backbone of her family, surrounded by loved ones at the time of her passing.
Laura dedicated over three decades to serving as a PSW at Uxbridge Nursing Home, where she was known for her quiet, soft, and gentle nature. Her presence brought comfort and care to many, and her loss leaves an emptiness felt deeply by her family and friends. Laura was the loving daughter of Guy and Diane Roach of Whitby and is predeceased by her sisters Kathy and Joyce, and her brother Kevin. She will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and their families.
Visitation will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby on Friday, July 5th. The specific times for visitation will be announced once confirmed.
