Don leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Don’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Don will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Doreen McGowan of Moncton and Donald Joseph McGowan of Moncton; and his sister Marlene Pond (Ron). He is survived by: his wife Sheila McGowan; his children, Shanley McGowan and Devlin McGowan; his pet Jasper; and his siblings, Joan McGowan, Cathy Cormier and Paul McGowan (Kerri). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Remember Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home- Burlington Chapel (2241 New St, Burlington, ON L7R1J2).
