He was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, on February 7th, 1934 and passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.

Janette is predeceased by husband Harold, daughter Donna Brown, and son-in-law Steven.

She is survived by brother Brian (Lily), brother-in-law Max (Elaine), and sister-in-law Geraldine (Jim deceased). Beloved mother of sons Daryl (Penny), Larry (Lori), and Gary (Lori). Loving Grandmother to Lindsay (Tim), Ashley (Gerald), Jason (Belle), Tyler (Sarah), Trevor (Tarah), Alicia (Joshua), Shannon (Anthony), Megan (Gregor), six nephews and nieces, as well as seven great-grandchildren.

Janette was actively involved in her church throughout her life. She played the organ and piano, and taught Sabbath School and VBS. A consummate hostess who fed a myriad of cherished family and friends with the culinary expertise of a Michelin Chef. Always ready for a game night with those she cherished. An expert at thump thump, Kanasta, and dominoes. Attendee of every graduation, school event, gymnastics performance, weddings, music programs, amongst many, many others.

She will be greatly missed and yet joyously celebrated for a life well lived.

Visitation: 2:00- 3:00pm

Service: 3:00-4:00pm
