After 97 years well lived, our father was called home by his Lord and Savior. Dad lived a long life, was committed to his family and had an enduring trust in God. He was generous and hard working, a private man with a quiet approach to a life filled with gratitude.
Dad died peacefully, the morning after his 97th birthday. Predeceased by his loving wife Antje and son Dave.
Left behind to God’s care are his children Andy and Joan Doorenspleet Rose and Lloyd Devries, Chris and Deb Doorenspleet and his grandchildren.
We as a family would like to express our gratitude to Dad’s care givers at Glen Hill Terrace, Whitby.
As per Dad’s wishes a private graveside service will be held.
