Jacqueline “Doreen” McKellar (née Lalonde) of Ottawa passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, at age 92.
She was the mother of David McKellar, Louise Nesbitt, Micheline Fleming, Jeffrey McKellar, and Wendy Klaubert, and sister of Norman Lalonde. She is also remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Doreen was predeceased by her parents, André and Celina Lalonde; daughter Janet McKellar; and several sisters and brothers.
A funeral Mass will be held at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Parish in Ottawa on September 29, 2026, followed by burial at Notre-Dame Cemetery.
