DORKEN, Linda – passed away at home on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the age of 76 years.
Linda Marlene Dorken (née Proctor) of Petawawa, beloved mother of Dustin (Tara) Dorken of Arnprior and Michael (Brandy) Dorken of Nova Scotia. Proud Nana and number one fan of her grandchildren Cameron & Olivia and Presley & Jack Dorken. Survived by sister Paddy (Dave) Dyer and brother Larry Proctor. Predeceased by parents Lawrence & Belle Proctor (née Reed) and by brothers Paul (late Evelyn) and Rick Proctor. Missed by nieces and nephews Jessica & Krissy; Jody & Lanny; Cicely and Alexander.
A lifelong fan of hockey, and particularly the Boston Bruins. The one thing she enjoyed more than the on-ice shenanigans of her favourite player Brad Marchand, was being a Nana to her grandchildren and reveling in their achievements.
Respecting Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Riverview Rescues or Heart & Stroke Foundation are appreciated.
