Deanna Mac Duff

April 17, 1937 – January 5, 2026

Smiling woman wearing necklace and blouse.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Deanna MacDuff, a devoted professional, community leader, and cherished friend.

Deanna was predeceased by her husband, the late Robert “Gordon” MacDuff. Deanna is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Marjorie, and Marjorie’s husband, Randy Gallas, and Deanna’s son, Douglas Gordon MacDuff, and his wife, Jacqueline. Deanna’s legacy continues through her grandchildren, Daniel Gordon MacIsaac (Emily), and Mallory MacIsaac and her husband Adam, as well as Deanna’s great-grandchild, Brooks Gordon. She was the sister of the late Russell Dodd and Leonore Dodd.

Deanna dedicated over 35 years of her career to the Oshawa Clinic, where she served as Manager of Laboratory Services, touching countless lives with her expertise and compassion. For more than 20 years, she also worked as a bookkeeper for St. John Ambulance in Oshawa, contributing her skills to this vital community organization.

Deanna and her loving husband Gordon made their home in Solina for over 35 years, building a life filled with warmth and connection . She was deeply involved in the Solina community, passionately participating in and organizing many local events. She took special pride in the Slow Pitch Baseball League, where she played and supported the Solina Blue Team.

Her hobbies brought joy to her life and those around her – she loved golfing, bowling, and cherished her extensive social engagements with her dear Solina friends, creating lasting memories through laughter and camaraderie.
