EASTON, Christopher David Easton
January 13, 1975 - June 22, 2026It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Christopher David Easton, who left us peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the age of 51, surrounded by his family, after a courageous and defiant battle with cancer. He was a devoted husband, proud dad, loved son, brother, uncle and friend.
Christopherβs greatest joy and proudest achievements were found within his home. To his wife, Tania, Christopher was a steadfast partner, a best friend, and the love of her life. He was a hardworking provider who dedicated himself entirely to building a beautiful, secure future for his family. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, shared dreams, and a deep bond that withstood lifeβs greatest trials. To his children, Ryleigh and Reece, he was a superhero. Christopher was always their biggest cheerleader, whether he was ringside at horse shows, in the stands for softball, in the dugout for baseball, or behind the bench for hockey. He never missed a moment to offer quiet wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional pride. His legacy lives on in their resilience, kindness, and the shared memories of his unwavering support.
Christopher was a deeply loved son to Iris and Dave, a supportive brother to Cory (Kerry) and Craig (Liz), the favourite son-in-law of Wayne and Joanne, brother-in-law to Brent, and a fun uncle to nieces and nephews, Zakary (Bethany), Alexis, Brody, Emery and Rowan. He was the anchor of his extended family, always ready with a helping hand or a perfectly timed joke.
To know Christopher was to know kindness, strength, and unconditional love. While cancer may have claimed his body, it never touched his spirit, his wit, or his capacity to love. Throughout his illness, he faced each day with remarkable courage, grace and determination. Though our hearts ache with his absence, we find comfort in knowing that his suffering has ended and that the love he gave so freely will remain with us always.
Cremation has taken place, and a private graveside service will be held for the immediate family.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Christopherβs life and legacy on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 1-4pm at Tyrone Community Centre, 2716 Concession Road 7, Clarington, ON L1C 5W2.
In lieu of flowers, donations toΒ Marigold Hospice NewcastleΒ would be greatly appreciated by the family to honour Christopher’s memory and the compassionate care he received.
Rest in peace, Christopher. Your battle is over, and your victory is found in the love you left behind.
