Peacefully finished this part of her journey on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the John Noble Home in Brantford, Ontario. Ruby was 96 years of age.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Vernon Clayton Eaton (2014). Loving mother of Donna Roux (Roland), Belwood; Clayton Eaton (Carol), Princeton; David Eaton (Gayle), Paris; Gary Eaton (Alma), Brantford; Vernon Eaton (Patti), Princeton; Timothy Eaton (Sharon), Brantford; and Brenda White (Alan), Paris.

Ruby will be dearly missed by her eighteen grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Lela Anderson, Bruce Edwards, and Jean Eaton.

Predeceased by her parents Reuben and Clara Anderson, granddaughters Melinda Eaton (1980), Jamie Lynn Roberts (2023), Emily Eaton (2024), son-in-law Gregory, and siblings Norman Anderson, John Anderson, Louise Hayton (Ray), and Verna Edwards.

Following the war, Vern and Ruby moved to the family farm in Princeton. She led a full and busy life—raising a large family, farming, and working as a Registered Practical Nurse. There was never a dull moment while raising seven children.

Friends will be welcomed at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, on Sunday from 7:00–9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Princeton Cemetery.
