The passing of Eileen Carol Powell (Richmond Hill, Ontario) occurred on October 20, 2026. Eileen, born on January 6, 1936, is remembered by those who knew her. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Eileen touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Eileen’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rheta Sanderson and Frank Sanderson; and her husband Don. She is survived by: her children, Laurie and Brad (Rose); her sister Linda; her granddaughters, Stephanie (Alex) and Ashley (Wes); her niece Lesley (Derek); and her nephew Kelly.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home (10366 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON L4C3B8).
