Elio Ianniello passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie on October 5, 2026, at the age of 88, surrounded by family. Born in Santi Cosma e Damiano, Italy, he is remembered by his wife Nina, children Frank and Al, grandchildren Toni and Mary, great-grandchildren Cooper and Colt, sister-in-law Carmela, and extended family.
Elio worked as a barber for 52 years and treasured family gatherings, gardening, Italian music, faith and the traditions of his heritage. His family thanked the palliative-care team at Douglas Memorial Hospital for its support.
