It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Deighan (nee Decker), on Friday, September 11, 2026, in her 86th year. Loving mother of Ted Antoniades. Dear sister of Jissie Sweeny, Kaye Haines, Dale (Derek) O’Brian, Dave (Dianne) Decker and Gilbert Decker. She was cherished by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Gararrd Road in Whitby, ON, from 12: 00p.m to 2: 00p.m with a chapel service to follow at 2:00p.m. An interment of her cremated remains will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Mount Lawn Cemetery at 3:30p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to a charity of your choice is greatly appreciated.
