Entered into rest peacefully at Arbour Heights Long Term Care Home on June 1, 2025, at the age of 90. Born in Enschede, Holland.
Beloved wife of the late Uwe Bergmann. Dear mother of Janet Vanderlyn (Charlie). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Christopher Countryman and Michelle Recomanta (Rodolfo), and great-grandchildren Kayla, Jordan, and Hailey. Dear sister of Anne Cossitt.
Predeceased by her parents Trijntje Emming and Cornelis Emming, her brother Jan Emming, and her sister Trix Emming.
A woman of deep faith and devotion, she found joy in worship and the company of family. Even in her final time at her long-term care home, she remained active in church and close with loved ones, always treasuring the time they spent together.
The family is deeply grateful to the dedicated staff at Arbour Heights for the kindness and care they showed her, and to Irvine Funeral Home for their professionalism and compassion in helping us honor her life.
A private family interment has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
