enrico pecotic courtice on obituary

Passed away suddenly on March 29, 2026, at the age of 49 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with his wife and older son by his side. Enrico was a devoted and loving husband and father. He will be deeply missed and remembered with great respect and everlasting affection by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rico was known for his love for fishing but even more for his great kindness and genuineness. He had a heart of gold, that gentle giant who would never say no and was always willing to help wherever help was needed.

Enrico will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Natalie; his children, Ricky (Enrico Jr.) and Zachary; his father Todorinko and his wife Anamarija; his late mother Renate; his brother, Marco; and his step-siblings Renci Junior and Amalija. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Carlton Wood and his wife Cathy, and was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Glenda Wood. Enrico will be fondly remembered as a brother-in-law to Troy (Adrienne) and Craig (Kelly), and as an uncle to Alaina, Anastaisia, Lucas, Caleb, and Joshua.

Visitation will be held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice on Wednesday April 8, 2026 from 5 to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Therese Catholic Church, 3800 Courtice Rd. N. Courtice on Thursday April 9 at 10:30 am. Followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
